Fibre Concrete 2011 is an international conference focused on fibre reinforced concretes traditionally held biennially. The objective of the conference is to offer a basis for the presentation and discussion of the recent knowledge in theory, design and use of fibre composites in concrete structures. The results of experimental research, new materials development, progress in analytical methods and their implementation in design will be presented. Successful applications of fibre reinforced concrete in structures and executions of fibre concrete structural elements and structures will be demonstrated. The conference aims at getting together specialists from different spheres – development, research, technology and implementation of concrete, designers and building industry enterprisers. This book contains papers that were presented during the 6th International Conference FIBRE CONCRETE 2011 that was held in Prague, Czech Republic, September 8-9, 2011. The papers of the present volume were peer reviewed by independent reviewers. This collection of proceedings was prepared and carried out with support of grant projects Czech Science Foundation 103/09/1788 and 104/10/1021. Conference was organized by Department of Concrete and Masonry Structures, Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague, Czech Republic.
